College Between Palms

Dome of the Marist College at Murcia.
"It was in July 1934 when he laid the foundation stone and inaugurated in September 1935. During the Spanish civil war, the center was converted into Hospital Blood and, after the war, the building was fully recovered in August 1949, because until then a major part of it housed the Military Hospital "Calvo Sotelo." In the fifties and sixties the school consolidated its prestige and important educational internship section supposed to exercise a wide radius of influence.
In the surroundings of the building built by architect Rafael Castillo and Saiz, between 1934 and 1935, sober and austere but balanced and harmonious, simple but monumental, is an image that is linked to the Paseo del Malecón and the memory of multiple experience for the thousands of students who have passed through its halls."
